REST API- Inserting a note with a value for the field note_attr
Hello all, I am trying to insert a note through the REST API. Everything works as expected, except for the field note_attr. I use it to store a string value (ie OK, SKIP), but this value is not inserted. Is is a normal behaviour? Here is the json I use: {"text":"testAPI","no...

Re: Application error 1401 out of the blue
The problem has been resolved, it was a bad production delivery on the ldap side.

Application error 1401 out of the blue
Hello all, I have had a Mantis BT app in production for a year, and since this morning it has become impossible to login because of the application error #1401 (AKA connection failed to the ldap server). There has been no modifications in the configuration for a week: $g_login_method = LDAP; $g_ldap...

REST API- Updating a note
Hello, I am trying to update a note through the REST API on Mantis 2.23.0. According to the postman documentation, this operation is not implemented in the API. Is that correct? If, so, would it be possible to update the note content by using an update operation on the entire issue? Thanks in advance!

Re: Wrong functionality of Excel export in mantis
Reading the back and forth, it does not look like a fix is coming anytime soon. Or is it?

Re: Wrong functionality of Excel export in mantis
As far as I can tell, this issue is still there in MantisBT version 2.23.0. It looks like the format is always specified as xml in excel_xml_export.php. Is there a fix programmed for this?

REST API- picture attachment handling
Hello everyone, I am trying to create issues with the rest API (Mantis version 2.23.0/ Windows 10) and command lines through curl. It works rather well, but I would like to know the details of the attachments. I can easily add text files (see https://documenter.getpostman.com/view/29959/mantis-bug-t...

Re: REST API- Summary not specified
Escaping all the quotes in the data-raw did the trick, thank you very much! I think we can mark this issue as resolved!

Re: REST API- Summary not specified
The quotes are not missing in the actual query: curl --trace-ascii - --location --request POST "http://xxxxxxx.xxxxx-xxxxxx.com/api/rest/issues" ^ --header "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" ^ --user "xxxxxxxxxxx:xxxxxxxxxx" ^ --header "Content-Type:application/json" ^ --...

Re: REST API- Summary not specified
I used https://jsonformatter.org/ to assert the validity of the json. Here is the verbose output : => Send header, 222 bytes (0xde) 0000: POST /api/rest/issues HTTP/1.1 0020: Host: mantis.sfr-ftth.com 003b: User-Agent: curl/7.55.1 0054: Accept: */* 0061: Authorization:xxxxxxxxxxxxxx 0091: Content-Ty...

Re: REST API- Summary not specified
I am also running the command through windows 10 with cmd. I formatted the query so that the data-raw part fits in one line (to remove the need for escape characters in the json). The trace-ascii states that all the data is sent, which rules out a malformed json.

Re: REST API- Summary not specified
Thank you very much for your reply! I actually used the api documentation you linked, using the parameter --data-raw does not change the behaviour I reported. As for category_id, it is a mandatory field in my use case. Switching to your syntax with "category_id={"id"="1"}&qu...
