@ mentions in MantisBT only support alias and not real name.

MantisHub supports auto-complete while MantisBT doesn’t.

Created that functionality in one of my plugins using some java script. Have not seen it within Mantis itself yet.

in there any possibility to :

1) whenever user A mentioned user B in a note,
2) prompt message alert to user B session?

currently once mentioned, mantis will send email notification to user B. As user B spending most of his/her in Mantis, is there a way to alert he/she from Mantis itself?

instead of in-apps notification, i'd suggest Slack plugin, superb
